In short

  • Per-proxy monthly pricing instead of per-gigabyte billing
  • Volume discounts from 10 proxies (5%), 50 (10%) and 100 (15%)
  • Three product lines: mobile, residential and corporate proxies
  • All headline figures — 99.7% success, 150+ locations, 7M+ IPs, 100,000+ clients — are provider-reported and unaudited.
  • Mobile proxies cost $15 per month against $5 for residential and corporate.

How we scored it

Customer service 4.5
24/7 support with a stated average response under 10 minutes, giving overnight failures somewhere to go; the only other channel listed is a contact form.
Feature release cadence 4.0
Weekly feature releases, per the provider — a claim that, like the performance figures, is unaudited.

I picked ASocks up because of how it bills. Most residential providers charge per gigabyte, which is awkward for a small, steady job: you either commit to a bundle you will not use or watch a meter tick. ASocks lists per-proxy monthly rates instead — $5 for residential, $5 for corporate, $15 for mobile. That shape is easier to budget against when you know how many proxies you need and roughly how much traffic each one will carry. Everything below comes from ASocks's own published material. I have not run my own benchmarks against the network, so every figure here is the provider's claim rather than a measurement of mine.

What it is best for

Per-proxy pricing suits a specific kind of job better than a bandwidth meter does.

  • Small residential jobs. A handful of residential proxies at $5 each per month is a predictable line item, regardless of how much or how little traffic they carry.
  • Mobile proxy work. Mobile is the most expensive of the three lines at $15 per proxy per month, which suggests it is aimed at work that genuinely needs carrier addresses rather than general page fetching.
  • Buying at volume. The discount ladder starts at 10 proxies, which is low enough for a modest team to reach.
  • Wide geographic spread. The provider claims 150+ locations, so work that needs several countries from one vendor has something to work with on paper.
  • Jobs that run overnight. 24/7 support matters more for processes that fail at 3am than for occasional batch work.

Is the $3-per-gigabyte plan enough for a small scraping job, or do the unlimited tariffs work out cheaper?

Answers: 4

🏷️ The published rate is $3 for 1 GB on both residential and mobile, so work that moves a few gigabytes a month is billed purely on traffic, with no monthly floor and the entire pool available on the plan.

♻️ The unlimited tariffs are billed per proxy per month — $5 for residential and corporate, $15 for mobile — so they only beat pay-as-you-go once a single address is moving well past a gigabyte of traffic in a month.

📦 Volume discounts of 5% at 10 proxies, 10% at 50 and 15% at 100 apply to the unlimited per-proxy tariffs, which shifts the arithmetic when you are buying many addresses rather than much traffic.

⚙️ Plan customisation of bandwidth, thread count and subscription periods was unavailable at the time of review, so neither route can be tuned to a specific job.

What I liked

These are statements the provider makes about itself rather than things I verified.

  • Per-proxy pricing. $5 a month for residential and corporate, $15 for mobile. There is no bandwidth meter to watch, which removes a whole class of end-of-month surprise.
  • Own infrastructure. The provider says the pool runs on its own infrastructure with clean addresses, and links that to fewer bans. Address quality is what usually decides whether a scraping run finishes, so a provider that owns rather than resells is worth noting — but this is a claim, not something I tested.
  • Scale as declared. 7M+ IP addresses across 150+ locations, with the pool described as growing daily in both geography and address count.
  • Release cadence. New features weekly, according to the provider. A weekly cadence is a reasonable signal that a team is still building rather than maintaining.

What I didn't

Nothing here is disqualifying, but several things are worth knowing before you pay.

  • Every performance figure is the provider's own. The 99.7% connection success rate and the rest are unaudited numbers on a marketing page; treat them as targets rather than findings.
  • Mobile costs three times residential. $15 against $5 per month needs a reason — carrier-grade addressing — and if the work does not need it, you are paying for a feature you will not use.
  • The G2 claim is a summary. "Rated #1 by customers on G2" is the provider's own wording, not a G2 ranking I can point to.

The products

Three lines, and the split is straightforward on price.

  • Residential proxies — $5 per proxy per month. The general-purpose option and the cheapest per unit.
  • Corporate proxies — also $5 per proxy per month, the same rate as residential.
  • Mobile proxies — $15 per proxy per month, the premium line.

Corporate and residential cost the same, so the difference between them is not price. Ask support what it is, and which session and rotation options each line has, before you buy.

How to get started

The path is short: choose one of the three product lines, decide how many proxies you want, and the discount applies from ten units upward. Billing is pay-as-you-go on the per-proxy monthly rate. Support is reachable 24/7 for anything the site leaves open.

Pricing

  • Mobile — $15 per proxy per month.
  • Residential — $5 per proxy per month.
  • Corporate — $5 per proxy per month.

Discounts: 5% from 10 proxies, 10% from 50, 15% from 100. Billing is described as unlimited proxies or pay-as-you-go. You pay per proxy, not per gigabyte, and the unit price falls as you add units.

Against bandwidth-billed providers that can go either way. Heavy transfer on a few proxies will tend to be cheaper here; a large number of idle proxies will not. The break-even depends on your traffic shape.

Customer service

Two facts: 24/7 support, and a stated average response time under 10 minutes. A contact form is the other listed channel. The response time is a provider figure, and averages hide tails: a ten-minute average with a two-day worst case is a different product from a ten-minute cap. The hours are the more useful fact. A job that fails on a Saturday night has somewhere to go.

What stood out

In its favour

  • Per-proxy monthly pricing instead of per-gigabyte billing
  • Volume discounts from 10 proxies (5%), 50 (10%) and 100 (15%)
  • Three product lines: mobile, residential and corporate proxies
  • 150+ locations and 7M+ IP addresses, as claimed by the provider
  • Own proxy infrastructure, which the provider links to cleaner addresses and fewer bans
  • 24/7 support with a stated average response time under 10 minutes
  • New features released weekly, according to the provider
  • Pool described as growing daily in both geography and address count
  • 99.7% connection success rate, per the provider
  • 100,000+ clients, per the provider
  • Rated #1 by customers on G2, in the provider's own summary

Against it

  • All headline figures — 99.7% success, 150+ locations, 7M+ IPs, 100,000+ clients — are provider-reported and unaudited.
  • Mobile proxies cost $15 per month against $5 for residential and corporate.

Our verdict

ASocks is worth a look if you want a flat per-proxy bill, a discount that starts at ten units, or mobile addresses and you accept the $15 premium for them. Heavy transfer across a small number of proxies is where this pricing model works in your favour; a large fleet of lightly used proxies is where it does not. Ask support about refunds and bandwidth limits before you commit. I have not tested the network, so treat the performance figures as the provider's claims.
