In short
- Rotating, static residential, static datacenter, mobile and ISP proxies under one account
- Rotating traffic from $1.00/GB covering residential, mobile and datacenter
- 20% off at 96 GB and 30% off at 120 GB published as open tiers
- No phone support, so a live voice escalation is not available
- Documentation is thin for advanced setups such as custom rotation logic
How we scored it
- Network coverage 4.5
- The provider claims 195+ locations across 195 countries and over 65 million IPs, and third-party listings record 195 countries, so the reach is broad even allowing for the claim being theirs.
- Product range 4.5
- Rotating, static residential, static datacenter, mobile, ISP, a web scraper and a cloud browser is a wide line-up for a company founded in April 2024.
- Pricing structure 4.0
- Per-GB rotating from $1.00 and static IPs from $0.79 per month are visible without a sales call, and the 20% and 30% bulk bands are published.
- Payment options 4.5
- Cards through Stripe plus 50+ cryptocurrencies, which removes the card-issuing problem for crypto-funded teams.
- Compliance 4.0
- SOC 2, CCPA and GDPR are stated by the provider, giving procurement something concrete to verify rather than a vague privacy promise.
- Free trial 3.5
- 100 MB per proxy type covers installation checks on all three pools, but it is too small to judge success rates under load.
- Documentation 2.5
- Advanced setups are the reported weak point: you get the API base URL and X-Api-Key authentication, and little worked guidance beyond that.
Floppydata came across my desk the way most new proxy brands do: a domain registered in April 2024, a pricing page that leads with per-gigabyte rates rather than a monthly platform fee, and a claims list that mixes infrastructure talk — SOC 2, CCPA, GDPR, a 95% clean IP pool — with things I can actually check. I was looking for a rotating residential and mobile pool for scraping work where monthly volume swings, and I wanted to know whether a provider this young could quote an entry price without burying it. The short answer is that the entry price is visible and the product range is wider than the founding date suggests. The caveat is that most of the performance figures in this review are the provider's own claims; I have not run independent latency or success-rate tests on this network.
What it is best for
The shape of the pricing tells you who this is aimed at. The published rows show no platform fee, just traffic and IPs, so cost tracks the work rather than the calendar.
- Scraping at uneven monthly volume. Rotating residential, mobile and datacenter are all listed under one rotating plan at $1.00/GB, so you can move between pool types without renegotiating a bundle.
- Geo-targeted collection. Country, city, ASN and IP-type targeting are described as free, which matters when a task needs one city rather than one country.
- Work that needs fixed addresses. Static residential from $1.79 per IP per month and static datacenter from $0.79 per IP per month suit logins and whitelisted endpoints better than a rotation.
- Accounts funded in crypto. The provider lists 50+ cryptocurrencies alongside cards, which removes the card-issuing problem for some teams.
- Mobile-only tasks. Mobile traffic has the same base rate as residential at $2.95/GB, so a mobile job does not carry a separate premium at the entry level.
Is the free 100 MB trial enough to judge Floppydata before paying?
Answers: 4
✅ The trial is sized for a functional check rather than a load test. 100 MB is enough to confirm that authentication works, that rotation behaves as expected and that city-level targeting resolves to the location you asked for; it is not enough to profile throughput across many locations.
🧪 Because the entry tier is billed per gigabyte and the provider states no traffic expiration, a paid top-up after the trial starts small and does not lapse at the end of a month. That structure makes the trial a starting point rather than the only free step.
📄 Judging the service also depends on the documentation for whatever client you use. The reported weakness here is thin material for advanced setups, so it is worth reading the integration pages before deciding the trial answered everything.
⏱️ A 100 MB trial says nothing about sustained speed, uptime or pool cleanliness. The figures for those — 99.99% uptime, an average response under 0.3 seconds and a 95% clean IP rate — are the provider's own, and no independent measurement of them is published.
What I liked
Two things stand out on paper. The first is that the metered and static sides of the business are priced separately and sensibly, rather than everything being forced into a single subscription. The second is the breadth of the product list for a company founded in April 2024.
- Per-GB billing with no traffic expiration. The provider and a third-party review both describe unlimited bandwidth with no expiry on purchased traffic, which is what you want when a project stalls for six weeks.
- Real bulk tiers. 20% off at 96 GB and 30% off at 120 GB are published bands, not a "contact sales" wall, and custom pricing only starts above 120 GB.
- A trial that covers all three pool types. 100 MB per proxy type — residential, datacenter and mobile — means you can check each network separately rather than picking one.
- Payment width. Cards through Stripe — Visa, MasterCard, American Express — plus 50+ cryptocurrencies including USDT, BTC, ETH, LTC, XMR and SOL.
- Compliance claims on the record. SOC 2, CCPA and GDPR are stated by the provider, which at least gives you something concrete to ask about in a procurement conversation.
What I didn't
The gaps are the ordinary ones for a young provider, and they matter at the edges rather than the centre.
- No phone support. Live chat, email and Telegram cover most questions, but there is no live voice escalation if an account issue lands badly.
- Documentation is thin for advanced setups. That weakness is reported on the provider's side too. You get an API base URL and an authentication scheme, and after that you are largely reading your own framework's docs.
- Performance numbers are claims. Sub-0.3-second average response times, 99.99% uptime, a 65-million-IP pool and a 95% clean rate are the provider's figures. None of them are mine.
The products
The line-up splits into proxy infrastructure and adjacent tooling.
- Rotating Proxy — residential, mobile and datacenter in one $1.00/GB plan.
- Static Residential Proxy — monthly bundles of 20, 50 or 100 IPs, from $1.79 per IP per month.
- Static Datacenter Proxy — same bundle structure, from $0.79 per IP per month.
- Pool types — residential, mobile, datacenter and ISP. Both IPv4 and IPv6 appear in the listings.
- Web Scraper — $0.9 per 1,000 scrapes, with a claimed 99.9% success rate.
- Cloud Browser — free for proxy users.
- Client API — programmatic proxy management at api.floppydata.net, authenticated with an X-Api-Key header.
Protocols are SOCKS5, HTTP and HTTPS — no surprises, no gaps.
How to get started
The path is short. You register, the dashboard issues credentials, and the trial gives you 100 MB on each proxy type so you can point a real script at each pool before spending anything. The provider claims fast setup and a user-friendly dashboard. Rotation and sticky sessions are both available, which is the pair you need for most scraping jobs — rotation for breadth, sticky when a session has to survive a few page loads. Targeting is set per request or per session, with country, city, ASN and IP-type selectors. Nothing here requires a sales call, which for a provider this new is the right first impression.
Integrations
The listings name Scrapy, Puppeteer, Selenium, Playwright, Curl, Python, Node.js, PHP, Go, Java and C#, along with generic compatibility for automation tools and browsers. In practice that means the usual pattern works: the proxy endpoint and credentials go into whatever library you already use, and the API handles provisioning and rotation settings. The one thing I would want more of is worked examples for sticky sessions in the heavier frameworks, which is where the reported documentation gap shows up.
Usability
There is a personal dashboard, rotation is on by default where you expect it, and the targeting controls are described as free rather than an upsell — that last point quietly saves money on city-level work. The interface is reported as fast to set up and easy to navigate. The friction sits further in: advanced configuration such as custom rotation logic is where the documentation thins out, and you end up working from the API reference rather than a guide. For a small team that knows its stack this is a minor tax. For someone who has never configured a rotating pool before, expect to spend an afternoon on it.
Pricing
Rotating traffic is the simplest row: $1.00 per GB, with that plan listed as covering residential, mobile and datacenter together. Bulk terms are 20% off at 96 GB and 30% off at 120 GB, with custom deals above 120 GB. The discount bands and the no-expiration traffic terms reach me through a third-party review rather than the provider's own page, so treat them as indicative until you confirm them.
Metered traffic tiers as published:
- Datacenter — $0.90/GB at base; $69.12 for 96 GB ($0.72/GB); $75.60 for 120 GB ($0.63/GB); custom above 120 GB.
- Mobile — $2.95/GB at base; $226.56 for 96 GB ($2.36/GB); $247.80 for 120 GB ($2.07/GB); custom above 120 GB.
- Residential — $2.95/GB at base; $226.56 for 96 GB ($2.36/GB); $247.80 for 120 GB ($2.07/GB); custom above 120 GB.
Static IPs are billed monthly in bundles of 20, 50 or 100: static residential from $1.79 per IP per month, static datacenter from $0.79 per IP per month. The web scraper is priced per result at $0.9 per 1,000 scrapes, and the cloud browser is free for proxy users. One number I could not reconcile: the rotating plan is listed at $1.00/GB while residential and mobile traffic are listed separately at $2.95/GB. If the rotating plan genuinely includes both, that is a large gap and worth asking about directly.
Customer service
Three channels: live chat, email at support@floppydata.com, and Telegram. Support is reported as responsive across them, and Telegram in particular is a reasonable choice for a provider selling heavily to crypto-paying customers. What is missing is a phone line, so there is no path to a live human when a written thread stalls. Given the size of the company and the price points involved, chat plus email plus Telegram is a defensible set — just do not expect a 24/7 voice desk.

Against it
- No phone support, so a live voice escalation is not available

- The 100 MB per-type trial is a connectivity check rather than a load test
- Performance figures such as 99.99% uptime and sub-0.3-second response times are provider claims
Our verdict
Floppydata fits teams that buy proxies by the gigabyte and want residential, mobile and datacenter under one account, with static IPs priced per month on top and crypto accepted. The 100 MB per-type trial makes it cheap to check the pools before you commit. It is a poor fit if you need a phone support line, detailed guides for advanced rotation setups, or a long trading history — the company was founded in April 2024. Anyone budgeting a large prepay should confirm the refund window and the rotating-versus-metered price gap first.
