In short

  • 86M+ residential IPs across 200+ countries, by the provider's own count
  • Country, state and city targeting on residential proxies
  • HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 support on the residential product
  • Uptime, success rate and response time are provider-declared, with no third-party audit shown
  • Not available in mainland China, by the provider's own policy

The rest of it below.

How we scored it

Network coverage 4.5
86M+ residential IPs across 200+ countries, all provider-declared, and the pool size is what makes the city-level targeting useful.
Product range 4.6
Five proxy types plus three scraping APIs, a proxy checker and a free proxy list, all under one account.
Targeting and rotation 4.4
Country, state and city targeting with both random and sticky rotation covers the two patterns most crawls actually use.
Pricing 4.3
$0.5 per GB residential and per-result API billing are easy to forecast; the $69.68 daily rate on the unlimited plan is the awkward one.
Usability 4.1
One dashboard with setup guides and code examples by the provider's description, and HTTP/SOCKS5 support means most clients need no extra tooling.

I picked Proxy-Sale up while looking for a residential pool I could bill per gigabyte and target down to a city, mainly for scraping work where geography changes the answer. Everything below comes from the provider's own published specs and product pages. I have not pushed traffic through this network myself, so wherever a number appears it is Proxy-Sale's claim, not my measurement.

What it is best for

Proxy-Sale is a broad proxy shop. The residential pool is the headline: the provider claims 86M+ IPs across 200+ countries, sourced from real users' devices. For scraping, price comparison and ad verification where you need a specific city rather than a whole country, the country/state/city targeting is the part that matters.

It is also a reasonable fit if you would rather buy from one vendor for everything: rotating residential, static residential, ISP, data centre and a set of scraping APIs under the same account and the same dashboard.

How does Proxy-Sale charge for large scraping volumes?

Answers: 4

๐Ÿ“Š The Web Scraper API is priced per 1,000 results from $0.39, and the provider states you only pay for successfully delivered results, which makes it the structure that matches a scraping workload most directly.

๐Ÿงฎ Residential proxies bill per gigabyte at $0.5/GB, so cost tracks bandwidth rather than request count; a page-heavy job with small responses stays cheap per request, and a media-heavy one does not.

โ™พ๏ธ The unlimited residential plan is billed per day at $69.68 with no limit on IPs and traffic, which suits a sustained push rather than an occasional crawl.

๐ŸŽฌ The Video Downloader API starts at $0.06/GB, the lowest per-gigabyte figure published, but it is scoped to video downloads rather than general page collection.

What I liked

  • Targeting goes to country, state and city on residential. That is the level most geo-restricted scraping actually needs.
  • The residential proxy supports HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, so it slots into most stacks without a shim.
  • Per-gigabyte billing on the main residential plan means a small job costs small money. There is no seat licence to absorb.
  • The Unlimited Residential plan removes both traffic and IP limits, which helps when a crawl's size is not known in advance, though it is priced per day.
  • Rotation is described as random and sticky, covering the two common patterns: a fresh IP per request, and a held session for a login flow.
  • The product list is wide, and several items are priced per successful result rather than per request.
  • Email, live online support and 24/7 customer service managers are all listed as support channels.
  • The provider reports over 1,000 reviews on Trustpilot. I did not verify the count or the scores behind it.

What I didn't

  • The best-looking numbers here are all provider-declared. The 99.9% uptime, the 99.5% residential success rate, the sub-0.6s response time and the 86M+ pool size are claims, and no third-party audit is shown against them.
  • The service is not available in mainland China, by the provider's own policy statement. If part of your traffic needs that geography, this vendor cannot serve it.
  • The free trial is for the Web Scraper API, not for the proxy network. Thirty days with zero setup is generous for an API, but I would not call it a free trial of Proxy-Sale's proxies.
  • The day rate on Unlimited Residential is an awkward shape for budgeting. A fixed crawl over a weekend is fine; a month-long job needs arithmetic before you commit.

The products

Eleven things are listed. Five are proxy plans: Residential Proxy, Unlimited Residential Proxy, Long Acting ISP Proxy, Static Residential Proxy and Static Data Center Proxy. Static residential at $5 per IP and static data centre at $3 per IP are what you buy when a job needs the same address tomorrow as today.

The other six are Web Scraper API, SERP API, Video Downloader API, Scraping Solutions, a Proxy Checker and a Free Proxy list. A Proxy Checker is a sensible thing for a vendor to publish, because it lets you test an endpoint before concluding the proxy is broken. The Free Proxy list I would treat as a taster rather than production stock.

How to get started

Sign up, pick a product, and the dashboard issues credentials. The provider says the dashboard ships with detailed setup guides and that ready-made code examples exist for the top languages. Both claims cover the boring part of integration, which is exactly why they are worth checking against your own stack before you pay.

If you want to see the scraping side before spending, the Web Scraper API is the entry point: 30 days, zero setup, by the provider's description. For the proxy network, the practical route is the smallest per-gigabyte top-up.

Integrations

Three are named: VMLogin and MuLogin antidetect browsers, plus LLM workflows. VMLogin and MuLogin are the right two names if your work is account management or multi-profile browsing, because that is where an antidetect browser plus a residential IP is the whole stack.

The LLM workflow mention is the more interesting one. It implies the provider expects agents and crawlers that pull pages for a model to be a use case, not just classic scraping. If you use Scrapy, Playwright or Puppeteer, plan on standard proxy authentication rather than a plugin.

Usability

Everything runs through one dashboard, and the provider describes it as intuitive with detailed setup guides. HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 on residential means most clients need nothing more than host, port, user and password.

Targeting is set per request or per session depending on whether you want sticky behaviour, so the real question is whether your client passes that parameter cleanly.

Pricing

Residential Proxy is $0.5 per GB, billed on usage. Long Acting ISP Proxy is $0.27 per GB. Static Residential is $5 per IP and Static Data Center is $3 per IP. Unlimited Residential Proxy is $69.68 per day with no limit on IPs or traffic, which is a daily rate and worth planning around.

On the API side, Web Scraper API starts at $0.39 per 1,000 results, SERP API at $0.75 per 1,000 results, and Video Downloader API at $0.06 per GB. The provider notes that the Web Scraper API bills only for successfully delivered results, which shifts failure risk towards the vendor. That is a fair structure, and one I would want confirmed in writing before a large run. New-user discounts are advertised as well.

Customer service

Four channels are listed: email at support@proxysale.com, live online support, 24/7 customer service managers, and multi-channel support generally. A named manager is more useful than a ticket queue when the problem is a specific target site blocking you, and overnight coverage matters for crawls that run while you sleep.

What stood out

In its favour

  • 86M+ residential IPs across 200+ countries, by the provider's own count
  • Country, state and city targeting on residential proxies
  • HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 support on the residential product
  • Residential pricing from $0.5/GB with billing based on usage
  • Unlimited Residential Proxy with no IP or traffic cap
  • Static IP options at $5/IP residential and $3/IP data centre
  • Web Scraper API bills only for successfully delivered results
  • 30-day zero-setup trial on the Web Scraper API
  • Email, live chat and 24/7 customer service managers listed
  • Random and sticky rotation on the unlimited residential plan

Against it

  • Uptime, success rate and response time are provider-declared, with no third-party audit shown
  • Not available in mainland China, by the provider's own policy
  • The free trial covers the Web Scraper API only, not the proxy network
  • Unlimited Residential is billed per day at $69.68, which is awkward for long jobs

Our verdict

Proxy-Sale fits teams that bill by the gigabyte and need city-level residential IPs without a seat licence: scraping, price checks, ad verification and multi-account work paired with an antidetect browser. The static IP plans and the per-result scraping APIs make it a workable single-vendor choice. Skip it if your traffic has to come from mainland China, or if a $69.68 daily rate on the unlimited plan does not suit your budget. I would treat the published uptime, success-rate and response-time figures as the provider's claims until someone independent reproduces them.
